Filmmaker and producer Anita Hugi is the author of the documentary essays « DADA-DATA » and « Undine« . In may 2016, she founded Narrative Boutique active in Switzerland, France and Canada.

Since 2005, Anita Hugi produces and writes documentary films and was heading, from 2005 to march 2016, programming for Sternstunde Kunst, a weekly program of art and culture documentaries presented by the Swiss public broadcast network SRF. These included surveys of the work of Sophie Taeuber and S. Corinna Bille as part of the collection Cherchez la femme, produced by Anita. In 2013, she created “Perspektive Sternstunde Kunst,” an award for the development of documentary films about artistic creation, granted at the Swiss Film Days festival in Solheure. Since 2009, she is also engaged in training programming directors.

In 2015-2016, she authored two documentary projects: the film Undine: The Project of Loving and the interactive documentary DADA-DATA.

In 2016, Anita Hugi resumed independent production to create auteur projects and launched the production company Narrative Boutique.

Since 2000, Hugi has also been involved in the conception and production of digital projects, including the interdisciplinary magazine Neuland which she developed in 2009 and launched with her complices in 2010.

Hugi holds a degree in languages (1999) and a diploma in communication studies (2002) from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHaW).
